TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Thank you for partnering with “Minimize-to-Maximize” to work with you to accomplish your de-cluttering and professional organizational needs. We are excited to be a small but significant part of this exciting and rewarding journey you have embarked upon and do hope to leave a positive and lasting impression for many years to come. In this regard, please find below the standard memorandum of understanding and the terms and conditions that would enter both parties into an instant and binding agreement for the following purposes:
The Client has contractually hired “Minimize-to-Maximize” to provide exclusive de-cluttering and organizational services. Services will be limited to the package selected and only be valid for the agreed duration of the engagement terms.
STATEMENT OF WORK:
All agreements will be superseded with a “Statement of Work” and agreed to in a writing signed by the parties.
PRIVACY AND CONFIDENTIALITY:
“Minimize-to-Maximize” values the trust of its clients and accordingly, agrees to maintain the confidentiality of all information about the client acquired or discovered during the time of services being rendered. All working sessions are completely confidential, non-judgmental and carried out with the utmost care and attention.
CLIENT PARTICIPATION, SUPPORT & COOPERATION:
The client understands that the success of any de-cluttering and organizing project is heavily dependent on the time commitments made by the client during the engagement and relies heavily on the client's active participation, attention and decision-making abilities. Unless otherwise agreed, the client is required to be present during each de-cluttering session and throughout the engagement. The client will make best efforts to minimize disruptions during sessions.
STANDARD WORKING PRACTICES:
“Minimize-to-Maximize” is not a cleaning service and will not provide such services during the de-cluttering and organizing working sessions.
- FURNITURE OR HEAVY LIFTING:
“Minimize-to-Maximize” will not be move, remove or perform any heavy lifting. It will be the client’s responsibility to ensure that the location is free and clear of such potential impediments.
- REMOVAL OF CLIENT'S ITEMS:
All Items will be discarded only with the explicit consent of the client and by the client in order to avoid any unforeseen or unanticipated situations. If the client chooses to make any donations, recycle or completely dispose of any items, “Minimize-to-Maximize” will not be liable or responsible for these actions. However, upon the client’s request “Minimize-to-Maximize” can arrange for certain donation pick-ups/drop-offs and recycling pick-up/drop-offs or transportation of large pieces of furniture / equipment to be discarded in a safe and environmentally friendly manner, etc. The client will be responsible for all associated costs, if any, for such activities.
MONETARY DAMAGES AND EQUITABLE REMEDIES REGARDING VALUABLE POSSESSIONS:
Great care and precaution will be taken while handling the client's possessions however, accidents can sometimes occur. “Minimize-to-Maximize” cannot take responsibility for the damage or loss of such items. Clients may wish to remove any such significant and expensive possessions or items prior to the commencement of the project. The burden of responsibility for such possessions will lie solely on the Client.
